Stabilized camel bone – rounded slices

Description

Camel bone stabilized for handles. Dimensions 128x38x9 mm with a tolerance of +/- 2 mm, one cylindrical surface.

This is a solid natural material with possible irregularities. It is excellently processed, yet very durable. When processing, it is necessary to ensure a low speed of the tool so that the material does not start to burn.

The top layer of the bone in particular is very hard and durable, the layer below it is slightly softer. When processing for handles, it is advisable to preserve the top layer as much as possible.

The slices are stabilized with resin, or with colored pigment. A number of color variants and plates with a milled decorative structure are available.
