    Additional material for the production of handles – guards, bolsters and butts of the handle. It is not corrosion resistant, but unlike stainless steel, the surface can be chemically patinated in various ways to achieve interesting effects.

    The chemically and mechanically very resistant material grade 14301 (“food grade” stainless steel) serves well as a material for guards or back of handles. Due to the high chemical resistance, patination of the surface is difficult, brushing or sandblasting can be used.

    It is a laminate with high density and strength glass fibres. It is available in a wide range of colours. It is used for liners and spacers, but also for the production of complete handle scales. It has a somewhat artificial appearance on the surface, when viewed from the edge (when used as a liner or spacer) it is very similar to fiber.

    Cellulose impregnated with resin and pressed under high pressure creates an interesting material for layered handles, liners or spacers. The filigree is available in a limited range of colours: red, brick, black, white, yellow. Available thicknesses range from 0.5 to 2 mm.

    Sheets with a thickness of 0.1-0.5 mm are used as inserts between 2 different handle materials. To create a strip structure, several sheets of different material are stacked on top of each other. Copper, stainless steel and brass sheets are used and can be combined with a number of other flat materials such as fiber or G10.

    Mosaic pins

    A decorative alternative to pins for attaching handle scales. After sanding, a decorative pattern appears. It is produced by inserting different profiles into a tube and then filling it with resin. Diameters of 6 and 8 mm are used, the material is mostly stainless steel, brass or carbon. There are a plethora of different patterns.

    Another type of bolts for fixing the handle scales. It is made of brass, stainless steel or a combination of these materials. After grinding to the plane of the scale, it creates a typical eyelet.
