Spring steel 14.260
Description
Spring steel 14.260 is the 54SiCr6 standard with high toughness, very resistant to breakage. It is wear-resistant, holds the blade decently, sharpening is more difficult. It is not corrosion resistant. For knives, tempering to a hardness in the wide range of 52-58 HRC is recommended. It is also suitable for the production of long blades (swords, machetes).
