Description
Mammoth teeth (teeth) stabilised with resin are an exclusive material made from real fossils. Each piece has an original appearance and will give a luxurious knife a unique character. It is a very durable and hard material that requires careful processing.
Stabilised mammoth teeth are suitable for making knife handles when boiled and in the form.
Processing instructions: this is a composite material consisting of a very hard component (dentine) and a binder. It can be ground with a high-quality abrasive using lower speeds to avoid burning the binder. Machining is possible using sharp carbide tools. Low pressure is suitable when drilling so that the drilling tool does not bend in the inhomogeneous material.
