An universal hunting knife inspired by traditional Scandinavian culture is made of D2 tool steel with increased corrosion resistance and a hardness of 61.3 HRC (cryogenic heat treatment). It is characterised by a strong blade with a low grind and an upturned tip. The blade surface is satin.
The handle is combined from an exceptionally beautiful piece of stabilized Karelian birch, bone, fiber and a massive engraved bronze ring with a guard function.
The knife is of hidden tang construction with a transverse bronze pin.
Yarl is a universal bushcraft and hunting knife of smaller size, but robust construction. It will be useful for hunters, e.g. when pulling.
The knife comes with a traditional Nordic sheath made of thin leather with a wooden insert and a seam in the back of the sheath. The sheath is very light. A twisted leather strap is used to attach it to the belt.
