A hunting knife made from D2 tool steel with enhanced corrosion resistance. The blade has undergone cryogenic heat treatment using liquid nitrogen. This process eliminates retained austenite, thereby increasing the final hardness while maintaining the steel’s toughness. In this instance, a hardness of 61.2 HRC has been achieved.
The handle is crafted from exotic “cheese tree” wood. A decorative yellow G10 spacer is positioned between the handle scales and the blade.
The handle features three brass pins and a lanyard hole.
This is a practical knife with a high grind and excellent cutting performance. It fits comfortably in the hand and is well-suited for all general tasks, particularly skining.
The blade has a satin finish.
The knife comes with an ornate, fold-over cowhide leather sheath equipped with a belt loop.
