Description
Hunting knife made of top-gear Elmax powder steel. The blade was heat-treated using a cryogenic method using liquid nitrogen. This method eliminates residual austenite, which further increases the resulting hardness while maintaining the toughness of the steel. The hardness achieved in this case is 62.0 HRC.
The handle is made of stabilized maple using three different pigments. This means that the stabilization process was applied three times in a row.
This is a practical knife with a high grind and excellent cutting properties. It fits well in the hand and is suitable for all common tasks, especially for pulling.
The blade has a satin finish. The pins are made of brass.
The knife has a “pancake” type sheath made of cowhide. In this case, a relatively small angle of inclination was chosen so that the knife could be worn both on the side and on the back.
