The Ruben hunting knife is suitable as a collector’s or gift knife due to its design and luxurious materials. It is made of tool steel with increased corrosion resistance D2. The blade was heat-treated cryogenically, that is, cooled to the temperature of liquid nitrogen before tempering, and has a hardness of 62.2 HRC.
The knife is a full tang construction, the handle is made of camel bone supported by beveled ebony wood plates. Thanks to this, the handle has a tapered shape towards the tip, while maintaining an even thickness of the bone slice. The massive bolsters are made of bronze and are decorated with an engraving with a plant motif on both sides. The surface is patinated. All pins on the knife are bronze.
The blade surface is satin.
The total length of the knife is 241 mm, the blade is 114 mm long and 36 mm high, the blade thickness is 3.8 mm, the knife weight is 295 g.
The knife comes with a leather sheath decorated with embossing. A leather loop with a D-ring is used to attach it to a belt.
