Hunting knife Joe

Description

The hunting knife Joe is a universal knife with a classic shape. It will be used for finer work, but it can also withstand rougher handling.

The blade is made of stainless steel Boehler N690 hardened to 59 – 60 HRC. On the blade back there are filed grooves for the support of the thumb or forefinger, there is a false edge ground behind the tip. The blade is etched in ferric chloride, stone washed and ground.

The tang, at the end secured by a nut, passes through the entire length of the handle. The nut is covered by a plug made of buffalo horn.

The handle is made of stabilized maple wood, behind the guard is a ring of black buffalo horn separated by copper strips. The guard is made of patinated stainless steel 1.4301.

The knife comes with a sheath made of decorated cowhide covering the knife blade. The knife is secured in the sheath with a strap fastened to a saddle pin. A strap with a width of 6.5 cm is used to attach the case to the belt. The case has a secret pocket for several small items.
