The Joe 5 hunting knife is a universal knife with a classic shape. It will be used for finer work, but it can also withstand rougher handling
The blade is made of stainless steel Boehler N690 hardened in a protective atmosphere to 60 HRC. On the back there are filed grooves for the support of the thumb or forefinger, there is a false edge sharpened at the tip. The surface of the blade is stonewash.
The entire length of the handle goes through a spike at the end secured by a nut, which is covered by a plug made of stabilized elm wood.
The handle is made of subfossil oak, behind the guard is a ring of stabilized elm, the inserts are brass and fiber. The guardis made of armored steel.
The knife comes with a sheath made of decorated cowhide covering the knife blade. A small pocket for small items is hidden on the back of the sheath. The knife is secured in the sheath with a strap fastened to a saddle pin. A strap with a width of 6.5 cm is used to attach the case to the belt.
