The Joe 2 hunting knife is a universal knife with a classic shape. It will be used for finer work, but it can also withstand rougher handling
The blade is made of D2 tool steel hardened in a protective atmosphere to 61 HRC. Due to the higher chromium content, it has better corrosion resistance. On the back there are filed grooves for the support of the thumb or forefinger, there is a false edge sharpened at the tip. The surface of the blade is satin shiny.
The entire length of the handle runs through a mandrel at the end secured by a nut, which is covered by a buffalo horn plug.
The handle is made of stabilized maple wood, behind the guard is a ring of black buffalo horn, the inserts are bronze and fiber. The guard is made of armored steel.
The knife comes with a sheath made of decorated cowhide covering the knife blade. The knife is secured in the sheath with a strap fastened to a saddle pin. A loop with a width of 6.5 cm is used to attach the case to the belt.
