Exotic wood Turkish Walnut block
Description
The exotic wood of the Turkish walnut is a traditional material for making knife handles and weapon stocks. It is characterized by a dark gray-brown to black color, a beautiful pattern and high strength. It is a very desirable and attractive wood. The origin is, of course, Turkey.
Turkish walnut belongs to medium-heavy woods, the volume weight is about 605 kg/m3 (for comparison, the weight of oak is around 760 kg/m3).
The logs have a minimum dimension of 150 x 50 x 30 mm (most logs are larger), the wood is dry.
