Ebony burl wood – block
Description
Ebony burl wood from Indonesia. It is characterised by a gray-black eye structure. Compared to dense ebony wood, it is lighter.
Since it is tumor wood, there are small cracks and cavities in the volume. During the final treatment, it is advisable to fill them with a putty made of wood dust and instant glue (cyanoacrylate), in the case of larger cracks with epoxy.
The blocks have dimensions of 150 x 50 x 30 mm, the wood is dry.
