Description
Corby bolts for mounting handles on the blade (full tang construction). They are used to facilitate the assembly of handles, when the handle is tightened with screws after applying glue and it is not necessary to use clamps. After grinding to a flat surface, they are indistinguishable from classic round pins.
Drilling is done with two drill diameters: a smaller through hole passes through both handles and the blade, a larger blind hole is used to seat the screw heads in the handle.
The indicated diameter corresponds to the larger hole and the visible part of the screw after the handle is assembled.
Brass and stainless steel are available in various diameters.
