Description
The Rezzie 2 Bowie knife is inspired by the original shape designed in the mid-19th century by Rezin Bowie for his brother James. Similar to the original shape, the Rezzie 2 has a lowered tip. The guard is ground from steel and its upper part is shorter than the original to better meet today’s needs. The blade is equipped with a decorative groove above the ground.
The blade of the knife is made of D2 / K110 tool steel hardened in a protective atmosphere with cryogenic processing. Hardness HRC 62.2.
The knife is constructed on a continuous tang with a locking nut covered by a blind plug. The handle is made of rosewood (Dalbergia nigra) with natural oils. The guard and the heel of the handle are made of blackened structural steel.
The knife is equipped with a classic cut cowhide leather sheath with a strap over the handle to a saddle pin. A wide loop is used for attaching to a belt. The case is decorated with embossing.
